Approaching 8,000 living units brought forward across the UK.

Our management team has a proven track record of successfully launching three UK student platforms, including Amro, Future Generation, and Tribe. Since our establishment in 2018, we have brought forward 2,700 student beds in London and have a further 1,909 in our pipeline. We now have ambitious plans to launch our own London-focused student portfolio, building on our successful track record and extensive experience in the student housing market.

In addition to our student housing expertise, we are excited to bring our commitment to sustainable and wellness-oriented design, construction, and operation practices to our pipeline of 1,076 co-living units and 1,865 build-to-rent homes. Management Team

Our leadership team has a long track record of success, having overseen the acquisition, planning, construction, and operations stages of close to 8,000 purpose-built student accommodation, co-living, and build-to-rent units in the UK. Our team of experts are experienced in identifying great development sites, adding value through design and planning, and optimising returns during the operational phase, ensuring the success of every project in the long term.

Managing Director

Ed Fisher

Ed is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in delivering successful property development projects. He co-founded Home Is and has been instrumental in building the pipeline across all sectors. Prior to joining Home Is, Ed worked in Barclays Structured Finance, where he delivered over £500m of debt and private equity funding to PBSA and residential developers from 2007 to 2011. He then held senior positions as Investment Director of BTR and PBSA developer and operator Amro Real Estate from 2011 to 2016 and was CEO of PBSA platform Future Generation from 2016 to 2019. Ed's wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry ensure that Home Is is well-positioned to deliver exceptional results.

Liza Samoriz

Liza is passionate about building socially conscious co-living and build-to-rent communities in London. Her mission is to ensure that Home Is branded schemes meet the highest industry standards of quality, sustainability, and wellness. Prior to co-founding Home Is, Liza worked in residential development and operated a portfolio of rental assets. She has a background in investment banking and corporate finance, delivering £650m of debt funding at HSBC, after overseeing the investment bank's operations in the UK and six European countries. Liza holds a bachelor's in Economics and a master's in Real Estate Economics and Finance from LSE.
